Martha Conway is a graduate of Vassar College and received her Masters degree in Creative Writing from San Francisco State University. Her novel 12 Bliss Street (St. Martin’s Minotaur) was nominated for an Edgar Award and her short fiction has appeared in The Iowa Review Online, The Mississippi Review Online, The Quarterly, Puerto del Sol, Carolina Quarterly, and other publications. She is the recipient of a California Arts Council fellowship in Creative Writing, has been a guest lecturer at UC Berkeley Extension, and has reviewed fiction for the San Francisco Chronicle, the San Francisco Review of Books, and The Iowa Review. She lives in San Francisco with her family.
